Cox Mill High’s Wendell Moore wins gold medal with USA Basketball

When his classmates ask what he did for summer vacation, Cox Mill High rising junior Wendell Moore will have quite the story to tell. Moore earned a spot on the USA Basketball U16 national team, and the Americans won a gold medal Sunday at the FIBA U16 Americas international tournament. It was the fifth straight USA win in the event as the Americans beat Canada 111-60.
