Ready and Able

The call for Cam Sexton came 8 minutes into the second quarter Saturday at Kenan Stadium. Starting quarterback had just thrown his second interception of the afternoon that killed a golden scoring opportunity. Looking for a tonic for their frustrated offense, North Carolina’s coaches summoned Sexton on his headset and asked the redshirt freshman if he was ready to play. “I was born ready,” Sexton responded.
