Trevor Kelley figured his career might be over. It was 2012, and he was a freshman languishing on the bench at the University of North Carolina. He couldn’t throw strikes. He had no realistic path to playing time. Five years later, he finds himself as the most unlikely of Salem’s six representatives in Tuesday’s Carolina League All-Star Game.
