Julius Hodge says he tanked his pre-draft workout to avoid George Karl
Posted Jun 26, 2017
Former Denver Nuggets NBA draft bust, Julius Hodge, said he purposefully tanked his pre-draft workout with the Nuggets because he wanted to avoid playing for George Karl. Unfortunately for Hodge, his scheme did not work. Denver selected Hodge with the 20th pick in the 2005 NBA draft. He appeared in just 14 games with the Nuggets that season and another 4 the following season before being traded.
