Boston Celtics expected to waive Tyler Zeller

The Celtics are expected to waive center Tyler Zeller, due $8 million next season, by Sunday’s deadline, according to the Boston Herald’s Mark Murphy. The 27-year-old Zeller has spent the last three seasons with the Celtics, and had a career-year for the C’s back in 2014-15, averaging career-best marks in points (10.2), rebounds (5.7), and field goal percentage (54.9%).
