Report: Shammond Williams resigning from Western Kentucky basketball staff

Western Kentucky assistant coach is reportedly leaving Rick Stansbury's program, according to an oddly timed bit of news dropped Monday onto Twitter by Fox Sports' college basketball insider Evan Daniels. Williams went to three Final Fours as a player at North Carolina in the 1990s. He came to WKU last year after a previous coaching stop at Tulane. (Louisville Courier-Journal)
