Red-shirt freshman quarterback Cam Sexton made his first collegiate appearance in the second quarter against Virginia Tech. Sexton's first career completion was a 13-yard pass to Brandon Tate for his first career reception. His first touchdown pass was an 18-yard completion to Brooks Foster, who made his first career TD catch. (Tar Heel Blue)
