Boston Celtics Waive Tyler Zeller

Prior to their big-time free agent signing of All-Star forward Gordon Hayward on Tuesday, the Boston Celtics were forced to make a few moves in order to clear up the necessary salary cap space. As a result, Celtics General Manager Danny Ainge decided Sunday to waive former UNC standout Tyler Zeller–who was set to make $8 million this upcoming season.
