UNC season in precarious situation

Rutgers was a quality opponent that earned its way into the postseason a year ago. But on an early schedule that also includes Top 25-ranked opponents in Virginia Tech, Clemson and Miami in the first five weeks, the game against the Scarlet Knights appeared to be one of the Tar Heels’ best chances for a victory. Instead, they find themselves staring down the barrel at a possible 1-4 start that would follow a disturbing trend at UNC under head coach John Bunting.
