College hoops programs forced to wait for elite recruits as 'superteam' craze impacts recruiting


The privileged college basketball recruits now wait to decide. They do not accept the first scholarship offered to them. Last spring, McDonald’s All-American forward didn’t make up his mind to attend Kentucky until May 6. The year before, center chose Duke on May 19. One reason for this trend is the notion of the NBA “superteam.” (Sporting News)
