Matt Harvey: I pitched through pain before telling Mets' docs

A few weeks ago, Mets pitcher Matt Harvey returned home to Connecticut and watched his nieces and nephew toss around a baseball. His dad quickly shouted from a distance: "Don't throw it," Harvey recalled, still in the middle of recovering from a stress injury to the scapula bone in his throwing shoulder. There were no such objections on Monday afternoon. (NJ.com)
