Zac Gallen named Texas League Pitcher of the Week

Springfield Cardinals RHP Zac Gallen has been named the Texas League Pitcher of the Week for July 10-16. Gallen, 21, dominated the Northwest Arkansas Naturals in his lone start of the week on Sunday, helping pace the Cardinals to the 6-0 shutout win. The Gibbsboro, North Carolina alum has gone 2-2 with a 2.35 ERA through five starts with Springfield this season.
