Matt Hedges, Dax McCarty Named To MLS All-Star Game

A pair of former North Carolina men's soccer standouts - Matt Hedges and Dax McCarty - will represent Major League Soccer against Spanish superpower Real Madrid in the 2017 MLS All-Star Game on Wednesday, Aug. 2 at Soldier Field in Chicago. Hedges, the 2016 MLS Defender of the Year at FC Dallas, is making his first career all-star appearance.
