Coaching carousel may give Heels needed edge


Danny Pearman wanted on his team, and Pearman got his wish. Just not how he imagined. The circumstances of the arrangement are different from when Pearman was recruiting Taylor to play football at Virginia Tech. About three years have passed since Taylor instead chose to play defensive end at North Carolina. Pearman, who spent eight years as an assistant coach on offense at Virginia Tech, is in his first season on UNC's staff as Taylor's position coach. (Durham Herald-Sun)
