Hakeem Nicks Named ACC Rookie Of The Week

North Carolina wide receiver Hakeem Nicks has been named the ACC Rookie of the Week for his performance against Rutgers. Nicks had seven receptions for 63 yards and caught a two-yard scoring pass from Tar Heel quarterback Joe Dailey with 5:09 left to play in the fourth quarter. Nicks tied the the single-game record for receptions by a UNC freshman. (Tar Heel Blue)
