UNC's wide receivers were impressive in loss
Posted Sep 5, 2006
North Carolina's wide receivers have a saying that motivates them for game day: "Be worth the price of admission." On Saturday afternoon, they were. UNC's top three wide receivers combined for 21 catches for 208 yards and a touchdown in the team's 21-16 loss to Rutgers. A pair of players who had not caught a pass in a college game led the way, with sophomore Brooks Foster and true freshman Hakeem Nicks combining for 18 grabs.
