Turnover helps sink Tar Heels' comeback attempt

Joe Dailey led North Carolina on a late, furious comeback yesterday, but an old problem reappeared and kept him from completing his job. As a result, Rutgers escaped Kenan Stadium with a 21-16 victory in front of 50,000 and handed North Carolina its fifth opening-game loss in six tries under Coach John Bunting.
