Joe Dailey said it's weird to be making his first start for the Tar Heels against Rutgers because he burned his home state school twice in the recruiting process. He was seriously considering Rutgers before changing his mind and committing to Nebraska. Two years later, he visited Rutgers and North Carolina before deciding where to transfer. Now his family and friends will come down from New Jersey to cheer against Rutgers.
