The momentary relief from quarterback mistrust was pleasant and shall pass as it inevitably does. Nothing is more temporary than faith that the Bears have found their guy. Chicago's favorite quarterback is always the one who is not playing. Those who would elevate rookie from whim to savior fail to recognize that being unfailed is a safer credential than being exposed.
