UNC's M.J. Stewart Named a PFF First-Team All-American

North Carolina senior cornerback M.J. Stewart has been named a preseason First-Team All-American by Pro Football Focus. PFF has Stewart as its slot/nickel cornerback. Stewart combined for 25 pass breakups over the last two seasons. In 2016 he totaled 66 tackles along with a team-high 11 pass breakups, a team-best two forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries.
