Quinn Likely Out for the Season
Posted Aug 31, 2006
North Carolina sophomore Richard Quinn suffered a potential season-ending injury in practice on Tuesday. John Bunting confirmed on Wednesday Quinn has a fractured right shoulder blade and is expected to miss eight to 12 weeks. In what Bunting called a “routine drill,” Quinn, from Maple Heights, Ohio, would have entered this season’s opener versus Rutgers as second on the depth chart at tight end behind senior Jon Hamlett.
