Heels go on offensive with new coordinator
Posted Aug 30, 2006
North Carolina football coach John Bunting now knows how Tar Heels basketball coach Roy Williams feels. Bunting lost his offensive coordinator in the offseason. When he approached athletic director Dick Baddour about what he could offer candidates, Baddour told him simply, "Go get who you want." Bunting hired Frank Cignetti away from Fresno State. Cignetti is considered one of the best offensive minds in college football: Fresno's 37 points a game the last two seasons ranked in the top-10 nationally.
