It’s been a while since the Tar Heels have had reason to feel great about their defense, but steady improvement over the past two seasons has led to what should be a breakout year. Malik Carney and Jeremiah Clarke anchor a strong line that could get major contributions from Dajuan Drennon and Jalen Dalton, and the Tar Heels return all three starting linebackers.
