Walk-On Shea Rush Earns UNC Basketball Scholarship

Shea Rush is now on scholarship. The sophomore from Fairway, Kansas received the news from UNC coach Roy Williams on Monday, Rush's former coach at Kansas City (Kan.) Barstow, Billy Thomas, confirmed to Inside Carolina. Thomas, who played for Williams at Kansas, said the news "made his day." "It's a big-time personal achievement for him." (Inside Carolina)
