Joel Berry had made up his mind as to what his future would hold, and so when the tears fell as the Tar Heels clinched their sixth NCAA national championship over Gonzaga in April, the emotion was more about completing a task and less about the surprise of the victory. “I’ve had to work for everything in my life when it came to basketball,” Berry told Inside Carolina.
