UNC Field Hockey Falls At Wake Forest In Conference Opener


The UNC field hockey team dropped its ACC opener at Wake Forest on Friday, falling 3-1 to the 19th-ranked Demon Deacons at Kentner Stadium. No. 4 UNC is now 3-2 on the season, 0-1 in ACC play. "I give a ton of credit to Wake Forest," UNC coach said. "They challenged us for every ball, and never stopped. They earned the win and we didn't." (GoHeels.com)
