Coby White excels despite loss of his father

North Carolina commitment Coby White hasn’t just proven to be one of the top players in the Class of 2018. He’s somehow managed to earn that status all while his father, Donald White, was dying from cancer. White’s father lost his battle with the disease Aug. 15, and USA TODAY’s Jason Jordan chronicled how White was dealing with the loss.
