Bunting is still shuffling defense

Sophomore linebacker Mark Paschal, a Charlotte Latin graduate, is competing with Victor Worsley for the starting spot at middle linebacker for North Carolina, but both players might start the opener against Rutgers. Weakside linebacker Durell Mapp has been shelved by a knee injury. "He's missed basically all of training camp, and that's scary," coach John Bunting said. "Ask Bill Parcells."
