Mullins won't play in '06

Aleric Mullins, a freshman from East Wake High School, will take classes at the University of North Carolina and will practice with the Tar Heels this season but he is not eligible to play in any games, UNC coach John Bunting said Thursday. Former UNC cornerback Michael Waddell successfully went through a similar process in 2003.
