NorthCarolina has more talent, better depth and higher expectations

North Carolina might be ready to make a move up in the ACC standings and maybe even make a run at a divisional title. Three long and often frustrating years of rebuilding by Coach John Bunting seem to have produced results. UNC is expected to have the most talent and depth it has had under Bunting, who is in his sixth season, and its most capable team since Mack Brown's last season in 1997.
