Luke Maye, Joel Berry named honorary drummers for Carolina Panthers game
Posted Sep 15, 2017
Luke Maye and Joel Berry will be the first Tar Heels to be honorary drummers for Carolina Panthers on Sunday. The Panthers' team mantra, “Keep Pounding”, has been in place ever since late Panthers player and coach Sam Mills used the phrase in 2004. Since 2012, the Panthers have had an honorary “drummer” hit the “Keep Pounding Drum” four times to signify four quarters.
