Bills’ Brandon Tate heads for home-state game vs. Panthers

Burlington native Brandon Tate, a ninth-year player in the NFL, will play as a professional player in his home state for the first time this weekend. The former Cummings High School and UNC standout is a return specialist for the Buffalo Bills. The Bills play Sunday afternoon against the Carolina Panthers in the second week of the season. Both teams won their openers.
