The North Carolina coaches didn’t know Trimane Goddard would go down with a season-ending injury this fall, but they’re sure glad now they moved Cooter Arnold to defense in the spring. The former running back has made the transition to safety look easy. “I caught on really fast,” Arnold said. “I’ve got a few things I still need to pick up, because they’re throwing new stuff in there.”
