Roy Williams pledges support to Seahawks in UNCW basketball’s tip-off event

Roy Williams is no stranger to Wilmington. The UNC men’s basketball coach owns a beach house and regularly visits longtime friends who reside by the coast. Thursday’s trip was billed as a fundraiser to help the UNCW men’s basketball team, but it had the feel of a reunion. That’s what happens when your former player and assistant coach is now leading his own team. (Wilmington Star News)
