Connections: The Nebraska to North Carolina QB pipeline
Posted Aug 20, 2006
One of the oddest connections in college football is the two-way road quarterbacks have traveled between Nebraska and North Carolina. Curt Dukes left Nebraska for Duke, though he's no longer with the program. Nebraska transfer Joe Dailey is battling for the starting job at North Carolina, and Harrison Beck recently left the Cornhuskers to join N.C. State's team. The guy Beck couldn't beat out for the starting job at Nebraska is Zac Taylor, formerly of Wake Forest. That's just too weird.
