NCAA to meet regarding earlier start for college basketball
Posted Oct 5, 2017
The NCAA is expected to meet in the next few weeks to discuss the possibility of moving up the start date of the college basketball season, multiple sources report. Such a proposal is likely to feature moving the first day of the season to a Tuesday during the second week of November rather than a Friday. However, the 2017-18 season will still begin on Friday, November 10.
