UNC was too sloppy with the ball to win a game against a superior team. The Tar Heels threw away an interception and lost a pair of fumbles. Chazz Surratt was the team's leading rusher—usually not a good sign—and was 19-for-42 passing. "We're continuing to make too many mistakes," Larry Fedora said.
