Multiple Tar Heels played across the NFL in Week 5. Julius Peppers (Carolina Panthers) had two tackles and a sack bringing his season total to 5.5. He also made a stop when the Detroit Lions attempted a 4th-and-1. Brandon Tate (Buffalo Bills) caught two passes for 25 yards and a TD. Tre Boston (L.A. Chargers) had four tackles and a game-sealing interception.
