NCAA denies request for immediate eligibility for NC State freshman guard Braxton Beverly

The NCAA denied NC State's request for immediate eligibility for freshman guard Braxton Beverly. NC State will appeal the decision. Beverly committed to and took summer classes at Ohio State University, then changed schools after the Buckeyes' head coach resigned. "I'm devastated by this decision, it's incredibly unfair," Beverly said in a statement Friday.
