The team’s top three rushers are back in Ronnie McGill, Barrington Edwards and Cooter Arnold. That group was responsible for 99% of the total rushing yards last season. They’ll need it, as the Tar Heels will be breaking in a new QB for the second year in a row. The offense will also have a new look under offensive coordinator Frank Cignetti, who preaches a physical running game as part of his west coast philosophy.
