Monday Practice Notes
Posted Aug 14, 2006
One of the quieter races of camp has been the battle to start opposite Jacoby Watkins in the second cornerback spot. As of now, Quinton Person may be the frontrunner, and he helped himself with a pair of interceptions Monday morning. One, when he stayed snug to the receiver on a deep route, prompted Marvin Sanders and Danny Pearman to sprint all the way down the field to congratulate him. Person credits improvement in some nuances of the game for his play during camp.
