With a rookie quarterback and an offense beset by injuries, the Tar Heels are snapping the ball just 67 times per game this season. "That's more of a result of not converting on third and fourth downs," UNC coach Larry Fedora said. Still, Virginia Tech’s defense knows that if UNC can hit big plays or convert consistently, its up-tempo approach can wear down a defense.
