Injuries imperil Mapp's mission

Injuries led to Durell Mapp's emergence last season at North Carolina. He'd hate to see injuries be his undoing this fall. The North Carolina junior from Burlington hopes his recent run of health issues ends before it costs him the starting job at weak-side linebacker. Sophomore Chase Rice is providing stiff competition, so Mapp doesn't need any more injury distractions, whether it be from shoulder, hamstring or hand.
