UNC Shows Defensive Growth Despite Catastrophic Plays


Much has been made of North Carolina’s defense and its preseason expectations to carry ’s sixth team in Chapel Hill. After failing to live up to that hype with a comedy of errors in early losses to California and Louisville, the Tar Heel defense has been plodding along each week, showing both improvement and a knack for giving up a catastrophic play every Saturday.
