As the third-down play came in during the Bears' final drive Sunday, Mitch Trubisky appreciated the directive. The rookie quarterback had spent much of the afternoon feeding his running backs — 50 run calls on 75 plays — and adhering to a conservative game plan that asked him to showcase his aptitude far more than his arm. But this situation was different.
