Oakland A's, MLB rally around 9-year-old whose family lost everything in wildfire

Baseball season had just begun, and Tait Smith wanted to do something special for his son’s birthday. So he took 9-year-old Loren Smith to see his favorite team, the Oakland Athletics. Loren returned home that night with a hat signed by manager Bob Melvin and an autograph from A’s legend Rickey Henderson.
