Talbott Cancer Center: It Will Save Lives

Administrators at Nash UNC Health Care in Rocky Mount planned to build a cancer treatment center that could serve northeastern North Carolina. They were brainstorming ideas to raise funds when the name Danny Talbott came up. Talbott: Three-sport standout at Rocky Mount High who went on to star as quarterback for the Tar Heels...and a survivor of multiple myeloma. (Carolina Lettermen)
