Tar Heels Get Tricky
Posted Oct 28, 2017
The UNC offense has been without its signature explosive plays in 2017. But on Saturday against No. 8 Miami, the Tar Heels found multiple ways to get chunk yards. As 20.5-point underdogs and sitting at 1-7, Larry Fedora and his offense staff opened up the playbook, calling four "trick" or "gadget" plays. The result was 55 yards, a key first down, and one touchdown.
