Katherine Canipe Wells never pined to be Cinderella or Snow White this time of year. Thanks to her mother introducing John Carpenter’s Halloween and her father employing the dark arts of makeup, the chill winds of October blew her spirit more toward zombies. Meanwhile, Alec Wells had more of Great Pumpkin vibe. That was before fate brought them together at UNC. (UNC.edu)
