Big Play 'Guy'

Though not necessarily a common attribute for a defensive tackle, junior Kyndraus Guy has a penchant for the big play. Last year against Maryland, he set up the Tar Heels’ first touchdown with an interception and 37-yard scamper to the Terps’ 1-yard line. “The only thing I remember was seeing those pylons,” Guy recalled. “I kept thinking, ‘I’m going to make it.’ But I didn’t see that weakside tackle was in my blind spot. I didn’t see him. He got a good pull on my shoestring, and that was it.
